Every gourmet and homemade confectioner will surely appreciate homemade caramel, which will prove useful as an ingredient of many desserts, as well as decoration of baked goods. How to make this sweet treat?

Caramel

You can make homemade caramel using only two ingredients, namely sugar: brown or regular, white and water. Sometimes depending on your needs you can add butter or spices like cinnamon or cocoa, which will give it unique aroma.

Making

Puta cup of white or cane sugar in a dry, heavy-bottomed pan and cook slowly, stirring from time to time, until the sugar turns brown, takes on an amber hue and dissolves completely. Then add to it 5 dag of butter and ¾ cup of water. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. At this point you can pour the mass onto baking paper, creating from it fanciful patterns and blobs, which after cooling down can be freely formed. When pouring, be very careful not to burn yourself.
